Most part of Maksim Bahdanovič Museum and ‘Hrodna region in Literary Key’ exhibitions are housed in 1888 wooden building which is on the list of local historical and cultural heritage and is on the list as a part of historical-cultural heritage of the Republic of Belarus in the historic part of Hrodna.
Part of the rooms is reconstructed; the exhibits there bring back the interior decorations of a late 19th century house of a civil servant.
The exhibition halls of Maksim Bahdanovič Museum showcase the artifacts that tell the story of life and writing of an outstanding Belarusian poet Bahdanovic, literary and socio-political movement in Belarus during the late 19th – early 20th centuries, literary legacy of the talented poets and prose writers of Hrodna region as well as the exhibits related to the city life and interior decorations of the late 19th – early 20th century.
